Alectis ciliaris (Bloch, 1787)

Alectis ciliaris is moderately rare at Kwajalein. Adults (last photo) are usually seen screaming past on the seaward reef slope, not wanting to hang around for their photos to be taken. Juveniles, like those in the first two photos, are usually even harder to find.

Larger individuals are tough to approach. The photo below is captured from a video frame and zoomed in, reducing resolution.
