Ferdauia orthogrammus (Jordan & Gilbert, 1882)
Yellow-spotted trevally, 75cm

Ferdauia orthogrammus is common in small schools around lagoon sand spits and lagoon sandy reefs around patches of Halimeda algae as well as along the seaward reef slope. Often they mix with Ferdauia ferdau. The fish are reported to reach about 75cm, but the ones we see are generally much smaller.
