Gnathanodon speciosus (Forsskål, 1775)
Golden trevally, 120cm

We usually see these as yellow juveniles, either acting as pilotfish for sharks or hanging around subsurface buoys that mark lagoon bottom shipwrecks.

As they grow, they lose the yellow and the bars start to fade.
