Hypselodoris iba comes in two very distinct forms illustrated by the pair in the first three photos from Seraya near Tulamben. The purple one immediately below was putting down a mass of pink eggs.
The next three photos show an animal found at Batuniti, near Tulamben.
Additional specimens have been observed with both narrow and wide white margins lacking the orange along the anterior margin. The IDs of some of these might be questionable.
The two below were found together, one with a narrow white margin and the other resembling Hypselodoris apolegma. We have also seen specimens of what we think are Hypselodoris iba that resemble H. apolegma in Lembeh Strait.
