Sea of Cortez Opisthobranchs

In 1983 and 1985, we made two short trips to Mexico to do a little mostly shore diving. On the first, we spent about five days around Mulege on the Baja side of the Sea of Cortez. For the second, we spent about seven days diving around San Carlos on the Mexican mainland side of the Sea. While we did not find a large number of species, and the low number of dives using only an old film camera limited the number of photos we got, it was interesting to see unfamiliar species. Those listed below are the ones I managed to get on film and constitute only a small sampling of the abundant and diverse opisthobranch fauna living in the area.
