Verconia varians (Pease, 1871)
15mm

I have six specimens recorded, all from the Magic Island channel, with finds ranging from 13 November 1977 to 23 December 1985. All were exposed during the day on the steep walls of the channel at depths of 2 to 6m. There are some differences between the Hawaiian specimens and what I am calling Verconia varians from the Marshall Islands. I'm not fully convinced they are the same species.
