Carminodoris cf flammea Fahey & Gosliner, 2003
40mm

This could be a darker color form of the species Sea Slugs of Hawaii figures as Carminodoris cf flammea. I have found this only in Iriquois Channel just within the mouth of Pearl Harbor. They were under rocks at a depth of about 2m on 13 March 1982. Although darker in color, it also resembles some of the Carminodoris grandiflora we have seen in Bali.
