I saw this large species only a couple of times. The larger specimen (lower photo) measured arond 150mm and was collected by Stan Jazwinski on Maui, who kindly brought it to me on Oahu to photograph. The photo immediately below was a much smaller specimen, perhaps 60mm, found under a rock in Pokai Bay, Oahu, on 2 December 1985 at a depth of about 10m.
