Conus striatellus Link, 1807
Striatellus cone, 42.65mm

This species is similar to Conus planorbis and could be a variation, but the few specimens we have seen have more bulbous shells and rounded shoulders. Both species have bright yellow animals, but that of C. planorbis has more black spots and blotches. Our specimens have been found in lagoon Halimeda patches at depths of 6-10m.
