Family Euphylliidae

This is a small family with apparently only a few species in the Marshalls. In the genera Euphyllia and Fimbriaphyllia, elongate tentacles protrude from hard skeletons and terminate in either a round ball or elongate "sausage." The two species of Galaxea have pointy corallites with less visible animal.
