Parapercis millepunctata (Günther, 1860)
Black-dotted or Red-barred sandperch, 18cm

Parapercis millepunctata is found at least on the seaward reef and in Kwajalein reef quarries. They look a lot like P. clathrata, but males lack the ocelli on the head. The pattern on the sides is a bit different between the two species, and P. millepunctata has larger brown spots on the gill plate and large brown spot on the body just behind the gill opening.
