Pseudoplesiops cf rosae Schultz, 1943
Largescale dottyback, 2.3cm

These yellow dottybacks live in caves rather deep on the seaward reef slope. It is possible they are a yellow form of Pseudoplesiops rosea, but it might be something new. These photos are by Stan Jazwinski and Jay Lord. The identification is somewhat tentative.
