Carminodoris grandiflora (Pease, 1860)
40mm

Carminodoris grandiflora is a variable species. Specimens from the Marshall Islands show a variety of color forms, but our Hawaiian specimen does not really match any of them. The individual immediately below was found at Puako, Hawaii, at night in a ledge at a depth of 8 to 10m on 17 May 1978.
